"Bloom," a characteristic of British bridle leather, is a phenomenon in which wax containing animal fat coats the leather in a white layer. It looks almost misty. The more the leather is used, the more the wax polishes it, and the black color emerges, eventually giving it a transparent, mirror-like luster. Furthermore, the "creases" that appear depending on how it is used highlight the deep shadows unique to oiled leather, achieved using the traditional oiled vachetta method. The main body is made from leather from an Italian tanner, based on oiled vachetta leather, in homage to bridle leather.
