What is accordion machi?

A kin is an organ, and refers to a gusset with a structure similar to the bellows of an accordion.

In the case of the "sasa gusset" that is commonly used in ordinary wallets and business card holders, the gusset folds inward, making it more likely to interfere with cards and making the wallet thicker.

With an accordion gusset, the gusset opens outward so it is less likely to interfere with cards, and when closed it can be stored in a slim manner.

The accordion-gusseted pocket was inspired by the resemblance to a mountain, and was named "Chevron" (French for "mountain shape").

It can hold up to 15 cards (2 fuchsia, 10 violet, 1 lavender, and 1 nuage), or up to 50 business cards.
